It is still a myth: Hitler may have been a criminal, but his private life was austere, withour luxury. He was a vegetarian, nonsmoker and a teetotaller. This image was produced by Hitler himself. A myth. Because on the contrary Hitler was a multi-billionaire when he shot a bullet through his head in 1945. As a young and poor man in Vienna he set himself for a life in luxury without work. And even before he became “Der Führer”, he was relying on vast financial ressources, and his style of living became more and more elegant and costly.
